We both had a wonderful time thank you very much. Your house is beautiful and perfect from our point of view. We know this area reasonably well and found the location excellent for doing some of the visits that we had yet to get round to. But we also spent a lot of time at the house as it was so peaceful and comfortable. We have been to France around 12 times in the last 7 years and I can honestly say that Chêne Lasserre is the best property we have stayed in.

We have just arrived home after a fantastic couple of weeks at Chêne Lasserre.
The house was wonderful, being both comfortable and in a great location, it was perfect for our holiday and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I have never stayed at a property where there has been such great attention to detail, from sharp knives in the kitchen through to shopping bags, toys, books and games - and all in such good condition. We have been travelling to France for over 20 years now and I would consider Chêne Lasserre the best property we have ever stayed in, in France.
You were also very attentive hosts and I greatly appreciated the prompt response from yourselves.
Given the wonderful location & design of the property we were wondering if you designed it and had it built yourselves? It looked great on the website and even better for real now that the garden has matured.

We’ve really enjoyed our week in this area. The house is in a great location for visiting caves/chateaux and the river. There are so many places to see and visit.
The house was well equipped with everything we needed. A very enjoyable holiday. We really appreciated all the leaflets and maps provided in the house.

The cottage is perfect (wish I could pick it up and move it to Jersey) and the children (1,4 & 10) loved the pool and all the games, DVD's etc. The fishing you suggested was really good, as was the "medal winning wine rack" at the local Hyper Champion.
